Do you really think that this is the same as spam? I mean, I get a lot of junk mail but I never mind it because there is a marginal cost associated with sending it which ensures that advertisers only send me stuff if they really think I will buy.

I have spent a lot of money over the years on things I saw advertised through the mail... I can't say the same thing about spam.

I never said it was the same but I understand your point -- I've also used junk mail to get discounts and what not. However, there is some junk mail that I will never use or care to receive.

When you receive credit card offers, at the bottom (or sometimes on the back) of the offer page, there is a phone number you can call to have your name removed from the credit card offers database. I believe it removes your name for five years. This is supposed to work for all credit card companies, not just one or two, so you only need to call the number once. You should try that - at least it will cut down on the junk mail somewhat.

I didn't know that -- that will definitely cut our junk mail in half. Thanks Jen.

Dude.

Seriously.

This is cool. Sorry for being off topic and all, it doesn't look like you've updated this in a while anyways, but a friend of mine stumbled upon this and lemme know about it.

Mainly because my name is Cameron Gibbs, too.

And so, I find this to be a cool coincidence.
