I was listening to a podcast today and the guest on the episode was talking about how everyone complains about spam but no one complains about junk mail (physical mail). Minutes later, I pulled up to my mail box just to find it was full of lots of junk mail that I threw right into the trash can when I walked in the door. I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a ‘Do not junk mail’ list that could be given (or possibly even sold) to businesses that send out junk mail, just like there’s a ‘Do not call’ list that telemarketers have to abide by? Both parties would benefit from such a list — the consumers ’cause they don’t have to deal with junk mail and the business because they can save on print and postage expenses.

Anyone heard of such a service?
